Hexipuff party

We have set a challenge to all knitters in Cambridgeshire to pick up their needles to raise money for Arthur Rank Hospice. The aim is to make a kingsize quilt out of “hexipuffs", and we need about 1,400 to make a kingsize quilt. To launch the challenge, you are invited to a hexipuff party at The Sheep Shop on Saturday 25th February. There’ll be random door prizes and for anyone who spends over £15 there’s a freebie. People can drop in and join the table to make the very first puffs together throughout the day (10am – 2pm, 3pm – 6pm). To take part you will need:a small amount of 4 ply or sock yarn3.5mm double pointed needles (or size needed to obtain gauge)stuffingBeekeeper's quilt pattern - buy this online from http://tinyowlknits.wordpress.com/the-beekeepers-quilt/ (it's priced in US dollars, and is about £3.60).
