Screen St Ives is the new community cinema for St Ives, Cambridgeshire. Based at the St Ives Corn Exchange, it was founded in 2011 by ACE – Friends of St Ives Corn Exchange to enable the screening of films for the benefit of the whole community.

Our programme of monthly screenings covers a wide variety of films, with the aim of promoting access to cinema; encouraging interest in film as an art form; and fostering a stronger sense of community within St Ives and the surrounding area.

Each screening includes a brief introduction and is preceded by a locally produced short film, often made by students from nearby St. Ivo School.

Refreshments are available before and after the screening, and an optional post-film discussion group encourages people to talk about the merits of the movie just shown. Everyone is welcome to come along and join us.
